i was lucky enough to be included in 'urban family christmas' this year, and even luckier that it was at osteria ciceri e tria. if you haven't been, osteria is owned by the same people as toronto's beloved terroni restaurants. in short, delish italian cuisine. aside from the restaurant being super cute, the truly fun thing about osteria is how you order. everyone must order antipasti - which is five different sample size dishes (this works really well if you're with friends that have opposite tastes as you. tradesies? hell yes!). once you've ordered your antipasti, you can decide if you want to add a primi and/or a secondi...basically you can create your own four course meal. and the other great thing? the menu changes daily, talk about selection. i would deffo recommend you swing by this cute little resto - just be sure you don't sit at one of the tables by the window if it's below zero outside. while they are the best seats in the house, they're also the coldest in the wintertime. oh...and don't bother trying to order a diet coke. they don't serve it because it 'causes cancer'. no joke.![]()
