happy new year!

the new year was rung in with the sound of some clinking glasses and...a smoke alarm. regardless, i stand by the choice to light the sparklers. in hindsight perhaps we should have lit only half...but at least we rang in the new year with a bang :)

    sparklers = AWES.

    a quick flip of the rug and the burn mark is no longer :)
