four-in-one.
day two in chile, and i had almost forgotten the most important lesson i had learned from the trip here last year...
rewind to a few hours ago. we had just returned from a client dinner, when we ran into a creative team we hadn't seen yet in the hallway of the hotel (i was hoping to just sneak back to my room, when they invited us all up for a drink). "okay, i'll come for one". we sit and order. at this point, i'm feeling pretty good about my gin and tonic...until i see it making it's way over on the server's tray. crap. i'd forgotten that every mixed drink in chile is served with four ounces of alcohol. so the "one drink" i had committed to was actually four. there is something i remembered from last year though...leave swiftly once finishing your drink...and make your exit before the next round gets ordered.
